    Link menu items to recipes

    Each recipe product lists inventory ingredients and quantities per serving (grams, ml, pcs with UOM conversion).

    Aggregate on every sale

    When staff sell 2× Latte, the system multiplies recipe lines by quantity and sums needs per ingredient — not per menu SKU.

    Block insufficient stock

    Before the order completes, OSTR checks ingredient levels and stops the sale with a clear message (e.g. insufficient milk for Latte).

How does the free trial work?

Register with your email and we send login details right away. You get 7 days of full Pro access — inventory, promotions, recipes, bundles, and multi-store — so you can evaluate everything before choosing a paid plan.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. Signup is email only. There is no payment step during registration.

What is the difference between Basic and Pro?

Basic covers core POS for one shop: products, checkout, transactions, customers, staff, and sales reports. Pro adds inventory, promotions, recipe-based stock deduction, bundle combos, fuller reports, and up to 3 stores and 10 users.

How do I pay and activate a paid plan?

Choose a plan and billing period (1, 3, 6, or 12 months) on the pricing cards, then contact us. We activate your subscription after payment is arranged — there is no self-serve checkout on the website yet.

Does OSTR POS process QRIS or GoPay automatically?

Not yet. Checkout supports cash, card, and QR/e-wallet as manual confirmation methods — staff mark the payment once it is received. Automated payments via Midtrans (QRIS, GoPay, and similar) are planned for a future release.

How does recipe and bundle inventory work?

Recipe products deduct ingredients (e.g. beans and milk for a latte), not just one menu SKU. Bundles sell as one price at checkout but expand into components, each following its own stock rules. The register can show how many servings or combos you can still make, and blocks sales when stock is insufficient.

Can I run multiple stores and staff accounts?

Yes on Pro — up to 3 store locations and 10 users with role-based access (Admin, Manager, Cashier). Basic includes one store and up to three users.

How does the cash register open and close work?

Staff open the register with an opening float, sell through the shift, then close with Indonesian note and coin counts. OSTR compares expected cash in the drawer to what was counted and highlights variance. Owners and managers can review every shift in Reports → Register shifts.

What happens when my trial ends?

When the 7-day trial period passes, login is blocked until you contact us to choose Basic or Pro. Your data stays saved — contact us before or after the end date to continue on a paid plan.

Can I see food cost and margin on menu items?

Yes on Pro. When you build a recipe product, OSTR multiplies each ingredient’s unit cost by the recipe quantity, totals recipe cost, and shows margin against your sell price — with a line-by-line breakdown while you edit the product.

What devices and internet do I need?

OSTR POS runs in a modern web browser on laptop, desktop, or tablet — no app store install required. An internet connection is needed for cloud sync and login. A barcode scanner works as a keyboard input for SKU search at checkout.
